Changes in the MOA can be done by filing an application with the Registrar of Companies along with the required documents. The procedure for submitting the application and getting it approved varies depending on the types of changes that are being made in the MOA.

For example, if the Company wants to expand its sphere of operations, it would require amending the Objects Clause of the MOA. Similarly, if the Company wishes to change its registered office or name it requires the approval of the shareholders in an Extra-ordinary General Meeting via Special Resolution.
